  • Disclosure, correction, and suspension of use of personal information

    1. When we are requested by the individual to disclose their personal information, we will promptly disclose it to the individual. However, we may not disclose all or part of the personal information if there is a risk of harming the individual or third party's rights or interests, or if it may significantly interfere with our business operations.
    2. When an individual requests correction, addition, or deletion of their personal information due to it being untrue, we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use, except in cases where special procedures are prescribed by other laws, and based on the results of the investigation, we will correct, add, or delete the personal information and notify the individual accordingly.

    Our company determines the retention period of personal information of our customers within the necessary range for the purpose of use, and promptly erases it after the retention period has expired or the purpose of use has been achieved. However, this does not apply if any of the following items listed in Article 10, Paragraph 2 of "Guidelines for Personal Information Protection in the Telecommunications Business" apply:

    • When retention is required based on the provisions of laws and regulations
    • When there is consent from the individual concerned
    • When a telecommunications business operator needs to retain personal information within the scope necessary to perform its own duties and there are reasonable grounds not to erase such personal information
    • When there are special reasons not to erase such personal information, in addition to those listed in the preceding three items.
  • Management of employees and contractors

    1. We regularly conduct necessary audits on our employees and contractors to ensure proper handling of personal information and strive for continuous improvement.
    2. In addition, we may entrust the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, to third-party contractors for various services, billing, marketing, and other business operations.In such cases, we select contractors who are deemed to handle personal information properly, establish appropriate safety management measures, confidentiality agreements, conditions for subcontracting, and other matters related to the handling of personal information in the entrusted contract, and implement necessary and appropriate supervision.
